Title: 1969 Shelby rear valance license plate hardware
Post by: aboss4tg on December 06, 2020, 07:58:11 AM
Installing the rear valance and exhaust on my car and wondering if the license plate plastic inserts and screws were still installed since the plate area is cut out for the center exhaust port? See no need for them and not sure what is correct.

Those would have been installed by the selling dealer with the hardware in the car. Jeff's reply #1 shows an original car in this thread. http://www.saacforum.com/index.php?topic=12580.0

I'm not positive about 69 but 70 - 72 had the hardware in a small (1 1/2 X 2" or so) manila envelope in the glove box
