Ford will contribute in battery and electric development among other areas. How much to stick your decal on the car??? We all know how well the "engineering" help was to the GT40 program. It wasn't until real racers got a free hand to build and manage the cars that they won.  Basically "Ford is getting naming rights"
As woke as Ford has become I'm surprised they just didn't buy out the Formula E series.

If that occurred, I guess that would mean they would use a Mustang Mach E safety car.
