We will once again be partnering up with our friends from Team Shelby.

Looking forwards to a fun time! Watching for all future announcements.

Missing body? Don't you mean "bodies"? Also they aren't missing, they are carefully positioned as to not disclose their location
Best pizza? It's always "that other place" that no longer exists
Jersey? Area code 201, all the rest are wanna be' (sorry 609)
Philadelphia has a jail at their stadium, they win hands down, plus they are related to the Jets and the New York NFL teams play in the Meadowlands, and you don't want to dig in the areas around there, no telling who you might find, tell Mr. Hoffa
Taylor's Pork Roll on a hard roll, or for you non meat eaters, a hard roll and butter, the breakfast of champions
Drive by Sopranos? Change that to any of the "family" and that's most of real Jersey ( north Jersey, except for those occasional trip to the pine barrens to " take out the trash"
Much more great things about Jersey ( it's the only state you can drop the first word and people still understand where you're talking about, take that Dakota's and Carolina's) and you don't have to pump your own gas
and more......
Jersey, free to get in, $5 to get out.
New Jersey. A generally unpleasant way to get from Delaware to New York.
Looking forward to it. Somewhat close to home for me. Closer than Pittsburg. Looking at Google Maps not a lot in the area unless a local knows better. Interested in knowing what the guest hotel will be.
Hmm, New Jersey, yeah, I've heard of that place before
Bill
New Jersey, hmmmm. Will there be the "Boss" driving a Boss? Not sure what Bon Jovi would drive. 8)
Hey Dan, if it's a Jersey thing, it's Taylor ham. To everybody else it's pork roll.
Don't we still owe them money from last time?

WE? Not me.
Actually that was part of the law suit settlement. After Mulally turned to Amy and said, "fix this", CS backed off and sent Amy with a check and told them take it or leave it or deal with "our" lawyers.
I'm surprised too but I don't think it is booked under SAAC's name. Probably the 10 guys in Vintage Racing Association and they need other participants to fill the track time BUT that is my personal speculation.
The mind boggles. Now I'm the old "Crazy Uncle" with all these strange memories that I can't always clearly remember the details of, or if they are real or not anymore? ::)
Isn't it pronounced "JOYSEY"
ROY
The "Iceman" approves.
I'll pass. Only venture where my HK is welcome.
My guess is CCW
I hear "Tommy Cutlets" will be a dinner speaker......

You need to work on your seating
BTW wasn't Capt Dave a New Jerseyite? Anybody know which exit?
Captain Dave lives/lived right by the track. No clue where he is currently.
I still have some of those decals somewhere.......
Any idea when registration opens, host hotel etc.?
It's possible Registration will be open before the end of January
The is no single hotel that will accommodate us; we will have a choice of three hotels in the area
What is the list of hotels for SAAC-49 and the code for registering? Just looking to plan ahead. I would like to be in the host hotel. Thank you in advance. - Kevin

Not sure if the hotels have been announced yet. Looks like updates are supposed to be on this website: https://www.saac.com/events/saac-48 (https://www.saac.com/events/saac-48)
Hey folks,
The registration for SAAC 49 has gone live, you can register here - http://msreg.com/saac49
Once registered, you'll get a confirmation email which will have the names, addresses and phone numbers of the convention hotels as well as a SAAC discount code.
Looking forward to seeing you all at NJMP July 25th-27th!
What day is the event at the Simeone?
I signed up. Looking forward to the event.

SAAC info lists it as Friday
Quote from: Bigfoot on February 13, 2024, 03:38:36 PM
What day is the event at the Simeone?
It is Friday the 26th. The current plan is that there will be effectively two groups going to Simeone, the first group are people who are not tracking. They can arrive at Simeone as early as 10am and enjoy the museum as long as they desire. A presentation will take place at 1pm.
A second group will be people who are participating in Open Track. Those folks will leave the track when they can but before noon. That should give them time to arrive before the 1pm presentation. They can enjoy the museum as they like. The SAAC Hosted dinner will begin at 7pm (with cocktail hour starting at 6pm) so there should be plenty of travel time.
My email was not correct in the registration, so I did not receive the confirmation email or hotel list. David, can you provide assistance please. I didn't see where my email could be updated. Thanks

Sure! Send me an email at info@saac.com with the correct email and I'll see what I can do. You MAY have to change it with MSR but once I get your email I'll send you the hotel & garage info...
I booked my hotel room at the Hampton Inn for July 25 - 27th which is what our SAAC special rate is good for but that would have us checking out on the 27th. If you wanted to stay an additional night and leave Sunday morning because who would want to go to an all day car show with your luggage in the car. It is going to cost an additional $400 to stay Saturday night. This is not what happened in PA for SAAC 48. Is this a misunderstanding on the part of the hotel or mine? Thank you in advance. - Kevin

The confirmation Hampton Inn emailed me said I have the SAAC special rate July 24th - 28th. (Checking out the 28th). No additional costs more than the SAAC special rate. Call them back and double check your reservation.

G'day there to all my Shelby American, brothers. A big thank you to SAAC, I was able to register for the event & book accommodation at the Holiday Day Inn Express, Vineland. This will be my first SAAC event so I'm really looking forward to the convention. I look forward to meeting some of you, kind regards Ben.

What is the host hotel? It's too bad some couldn't get a convention rate that cannot sign up months in advance. I'm one of them but it is what it is.

There was no hotel large enough in the area to be a "main hotel"...
...we contracted with the three closest "chain" hotels for a club rate.

I am really looking forward to attending another SAAC event! I have registered but have only received a "Confirmation of Payment" email, nothing showing that I have registered two people.
Should I have some additional information or is this sufficient?

The registration site sends a copy of registration upon completion. We get reports of who signed up and what they ordered.
If you need to check or have any questions, you can either log back in to the Reg site to review your order and see your registration.
You can email info@saac.com (info@saac.com) if you need further assistance.

The trailer is loaded and ready to go. We are super excited, see everyone Thursday!
Anyone from Mi-specifically the SE area up to around mid Mich- going to the convention this weekend?
What is the Fee for attending the Saturday car show and can non SACC cars participate ?
