Title: Rod end clutch limkage
Post by: TS69GT500 on November 28, 2024, 04:19:13 PM
Has anyone used the rod end clutch linkage with or without their supplied Z-Bar from Modern Drive Line or
Opentracker?
This would apply to drivers of course not show.
I would like to add to my driver 69 GT500.
If anyone has used either, any comments pos or neg.
I am going add the Scott Drake roller bearing kit to my pedal support and would like to supplement with
rod end linkage if possible.

Thanks,
TonyS

Tony,
Built my own rod end clutch linkage and it allows me a more robust linkage with plenty of adjustment. Kept the z-bar (reinforced) with headers. Have rod ends on both the pedal to bar, and bar to fork.

It's a great mod to compliment the roller bearing kit on the pedals.

While your at it throw on a set of roller spring perches. Pretty easy to do:
