Title: Help Identifying KH Brake Calipers
Post by: JWH on January 05, 2025, 09:04:08 AM
Kelsey Hayes brake calipers came installed on the REAR axle of our '66 and it's time for new brake pads. I've searched but come up empty, can someone tell me the year and model of Ford these came from? The part # cast into the caliper is KH 107786 with Ford in an oval. On the other end of the caliper is what looks like a date code (?) of 6115 and below that D2.

Here is a pic. The website wouldn't let me add the picture this morning. But it's working now.

That gives me good direction on the pads I need to order if I stay with the disc brake set-up. Thank you for sending the link!

They are Lincoln MkVII rear brakes. Also used on the Mustang SVO and some Saleen models. They were popular for use in disc brake conversion kits in the 90's and early 2000's. I guess they became less popular when these parts became harder to get and custom brake hardware (= not OEM based) became more common.
