Cant wait to see the description!
As my good friend David Roth used to say, "I think we are headed for a whole lot of trouble"
Never seen a Shelby with 4 lug drums in the front.
Optional front drum brakes....RARE... ::)
Thats the least of the issues. Selling VINs unattached to a car is a big no no
You dont have to take it from me...

the second one the project car......what is it they are actually selling?
It appears to me the auction is for...
The serial numbers cut from car 9F02R481419, a red GT500
A bunch of misc parts, some of which may have come from a Shelby
The remains of a wrecked and rusted Mustang. It appears that car was originally painted white in color.

With a little contrast help from photoshop, I can clearly see 9F02R481419
Being a NY car, and knowing first hand what the salt they used back in the day can do to Ford sheetmetal, Could the chassis shown in the pictures truly be the chassis from 9F02R481419, that remains to be seen, but there is certainly enough rust to say maybe. Same goes for the wrap around shock tower braces, and the severe sheetmetal damage to the left front inner fender panel area. For me, I'd have left the crunched inner fenders alone and taken enough pictures to document the reason for the VIN's to be cut out, but then again, I personally would never do that to a car as valuable as a Shelby, as it leaves a lot of questions to the imagination, and I have one hell of an imagination ;)
Bill
You will have to explain to me why the wrecked car has white paint all over it? That chassis was not red in my humble opinion.

Nobody said my logic was not flawed ;)
Mine could be, but I looked at those pretty closely. The original car also had AC, I dont think thats the case for the basket
Scary,run! For what its worth even though it has 4 lug drum brakes if you look closely the brake hoses attached to the unibody they are disc brake hoses.
