Title: 1967 roll bar install help
Post by: Jess on April 02, 2025, 12:34:37 PM
Hi, I building  a 67 GT350 replica using a fastback that had  some roof damage and I bought  a Branda roll bar for it but it is almost a no-go when the ears of roll bar get close to shoulder harness mounts on body ( it would go using a mallet} but headliner would be ripped. Could I get a measurement from shoulder harness mounts  across the car and possible on a original  roll bar.  driving me crazy on this . Thank you

I am just guessing here, wouldn't spacers go between the Ears and the Body?

Hi
Just measured tab to tab on a roll bar and came up with 47" Note: this is approximate and should be measured more precisely with a tram gauge. Maybe someone has a car apart
Or a book with precise body dimensions to get real accurate. Hope this helps.
