Granatelli's Gryonaut?  What involvement did Granatelli have with the Gryonaut?

It's a shame that the GT40 J-10 has such tacky looking tires, the way they left the Hoosier markings on, and added a blue stripe and Goodyear letters. They should have had Bella (at CSX2259's shop) do it.

His old Culver City shop on Jefferson Blvd right next to the 405 freeway was still there the last time I was in CC, earlier this year. You can still see the 1950's-era "Iskenderian Cams" name on the outside. I'm astonished it's still there.

I go by it all the time, and admire the name.  They painted the building some years back, but painted around the lettering.

When I talked to Isky at Bonneville ten or so years ago, and asked him about that building, he said it was the first property he ever bought for the business.

I can't make out many details on my phone, but if the Mustang is turning from Sunset Bl onto North Pacific Coast Highway, that would've been Jack's at the Beach restaurant for a couple of decades  before it became a Charthouse and/or some high end fish place.
If it is Sunset and PCH, the restaurant is now Gladstones.

Looking for a tire shop to mount tires on knock off rims, where I can drive my Cobra to the shop. I'm told that Lee's Tires on Lomita near Western can do it. Has anyone used them? Any other recommendations?  I am near LAX.

A friend of mine sent me this screen grab, I don't know what website he found it on.  My friend knew all of the guys named, Joe Stimola was a friend of his from high school on.  He thinks this photo is from the late '60s or early '70s, taken at Bridgehampton.

CSX1000, 4000, 7000, 8000 / Re: CSX4000 Mfr Source ?

I believe only a very small number of CSX4000 cars built in Mexico had the LA suffix, like less than 20.

There is a picture of the number in the photo gallery in that link, 3299.

I'm pretty sure Mike Wolfe mentioned the Super Snake in the show.
