1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Fender to cowl bumpers
February 11, 2024, 02:19:32 PM
I'm guessing the 69 Shelby's do not use the fender to cowl bumpers like the regular production mustangs did?

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 69/70 original wheels

I wanted to follow up on this topic. No rivets on these wheels and they all have 68 date codes. Vinnie has deemed these to be original wheels.

I have a set of 4 69/70 Shelby wheels which I believe are original. Is there a way to determine this for certain? Thanks in advance for any info on this topic.

I have a Buddy who is selling a hipo crank just back from machine shop. If you p/m me your # I will pass it to him. Thanks

If this is something that can be reproduced I would consider getting one. My guess is an NOS one is probably no longer a reality.

Wanted to Buy / 69/70 Power Ventilation
June 06, 2022, 01:34:19 PM
Looking for any 69/70 NOS power ventilation parts.

Any luck with this? I'm looking as well so I would hope there is a source for this hose

Does anyone have a GT-500 with both tilt away and power ventilation options in their car? Photos of the different vacuum hoses, check valves and correct placement of each would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone for the reply's on this topic. I have ordered the hose from NPD as dead nuts on is out of stock. I have ordered the pieces from AMK and also a new vacuum canister. This should get me going. Does anyone know where the vacuum line from the canister goes as it makes its way under the shock tower bracing? I'm guessing a vacuum port on the back of the intake but not exactly sure. Thanks again for the assistance on this one, Bob
The factory illustration posted shows it. If for a big block then it doesn't seem to be marked but it is the unmarked one with what looks like a double intake fitting in the illustration

Bob, yes, thanks. Funny that the illustration doesn't mention any big block application. I have enough to get started once I get all the parts. Hopefully all the in line check valves for the tilt away are still there. Thanks again, Bob
