Hmm...Shelby Authenticity Certificate....Titled as a 1967 Mustang....Hmm.....was it born as a A code, C code, T code....or new body...It will never a real one...

Dicking around on eBay and then telling the high bidder you want cash is not very fair

Steve:  This seller is putting himself in a bad position.
If someone truly offered him $150,000 in cash he'd be best to get a small deposit via paypal and then end the auction.
Then let the buyer show up with the $$$$..

If he doesn't end the auction, the high bidder is then informed after the bidding ends that the seller wants "cash".
What happens then if the guy is in Waco TX but is just told that Mr. Michigan wants cash for his purchase?
He has the $$$ but no way to get that $$$ to him.

Also, if the high bidder is sincere he's then told someone offered "more" so his bid isn't honored .

I should also point out in the Ebay advertisment it says "Payment:  wire to my account"...

And I know my Shelby's.
If someone truly offered him $150,000 I suggest he makes the deal and ends the auction at once.

These project type cars don't seem to come a lot

For the right price this could be a great car for someone that could do most of the work themselves

Great colour and if the miles are genuine then it's a big win for lucky new owner

Will be interesting to see what it sells for

What are flame thrower headlights

I have not heard that term used before

is it something that the early 67's would have ?

Found this the other day on Marketplace.  Not mine but seems interesting seller says located in Scarsdale, NY


1967 SHELBY GT 350 Early production.289 hipo 4 speed. All early 67 Shelby original parts, Including lucas flame thrower
headlights, hood prop rod, steel frame hood, and trunk lid, running lights on upper scoops in excellent condition.
The paint has some minor flaws,not perfect. Time period correct paxton super charger added.
The first of only 12 1967 Shelbys painted charcoal grey. Matching numbers stamped on block and transmission.
This is a very rare car and color. owner. It was my neighbors car when i first saw it in 1971. I bought the car in 1984.
The car was fully restored in 1991.
