Thank you all again. Another question, did some Hertz cars never have the Le Mans strips? I have not seen many that way, but by now most have been repainted.

Thank you all for your thoughtful reply's. Yes I am in the market for a 66 Hertz car. I am considering a Green car and a Black car.  Both cars are great cars. I have yet to personally inspect either car, so it may be a no brained after I look and drive them both. I used to own a Black n Gold car and prefer that color, but the Green car seems to be as original as the Black. So my question was just to help me in my decision making process.

This may have been discussed before? I am curious if the color of a Hertz car effects the price range if all things are equal? I know Shelby built more Black cars than the rest?
Thanks

Thanks to all that helped out "Dave", I did get in contact with the current owner of SFM6S-1613. That was my old car. Now I am on the hunt to try to help him and me find the history of my old car. If anyone has any information about SFM6S-1613 , please contact me..
thank you

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Help Finding My Old 66 GT 350H
November 11, 2018, 06:15:15 PM
I known it's a long shot but anyone have an idea to help me locate my old Black and Gold 1966 GT-350H. Unfortunately I don't know the Shelby Vin number? I owned it in Colorado from 1971 to 1974. A guy in Firestone, Colorado contacted me a few years ago asking for any history, I had on the car, as he just bought it. I was so excited to talk to him I forgot to ask the vin number for my records. I also lost his name and phone number... I just retired and now want to get back into a 65-66 Shelby and wouldn't mind having my car back?

Thanks for any help.
