Saturday car show. excellent work on modifying this GT500 shock towers and putting a coil over strut suspension on it. Anyone who has worked on an FE in a Mustang would appreciate the gaps this car now has from headers to shock towers(about a fist) with the modification. Car saw  track time when I was there
Thank you.  We had a great time at our first SAAC event.  Maybe next year we can drive it to it's full potential on the track...

SAAC-48 / Re: 2023 National Convention - SAAC-48

This will be our first SAAC convention and we're really looking forward to it.  And with that comes many questions.  Should we (as we were told in basic training) 'hurry up and wait' for more information?  Or is it out there and I'm too dumb to find it?
Made hotel reservations and Shelby Club wasn't recognized.

This'll stir the pot...

Had our '69 on Road America for the Optima event last weekend.  Had a ton of fun but broke the car (no major damage - distributor gear roll pin sheared) and fixing it for next track event.

Very interesting to talk to Jim while he was working on parts - an incredible wealth of knowledge.  Was a great help putting my Dad's car together.  Thanks Jim.  RIP

My Dad was a safety engineer for A.O.Smith in Milwaukee.  The car he bought from the company in 1970 was one of two demos (the other a convert) and it was his daily driver for years.  Originally an automatic car, it now sports a 5 speed, 462" fuel injected engine, coil over front & rear suspension, near stock appearance inside & out, and is getting close to completion with the original Acapulco Blue color.
