color change, I have a 66 that was white and should be red, a simple paint job has been huge rig-a-row that took the fun out of it. NEVER again

Just asking, but what percentage would one think is the loss of having that underside in that shape...It looks like it is in good shape, but it really needs to be taken apart and get all the bolt on parts either cleaned and detailed or replaced, that means everything removed and reinstalled. It still would be better than, but while your there.....removing the bed liner, would be best, at that point it would be super nice.
Try to find a guy with work ethic to do that!!!! Also, is it me or does it look like it was sprayed on and nothing was removed on that underside? Not looking to insult, everyone can do what they want, but when it is for sale on some crazy auction site, it ends up biting them.

Hi, I better say what I am looking for.
Color: Tungsten, Blue, Red.
Options: 4 option car, 3 option, must have McIntosh.
Condition: no story car, unless priced on the very low side.
MILAGE: no under 1K, 5 to 10K OK if reasonable, and 10K to 20K not priced like it is a 2K car.

I have many times, and I find it harder than most forums, I have been talking to Rich Brooks from time to time. I am just thinking that many one of these SAAC member might just know of one or be thinking os selling one they might have? I hate auctions, I find that games exist and that is a larger sum of money to be takin advantage of.

Are the stripes correct as far as tapered?

meaning for lo-po is? not for a hipo? Would that still work, I ask, because its probably a better rebuild than most?
I would consider both.

OK here is my next dumb question.
i see where 67 GT350/500 headlights are many different sizes depending where you shop. 5 1/5 or 5 3/4???
I am looking for a aftermarket set, NOT LED conversions, just some nice brighter lights, nothing stupid crazy. What are people using as far as a no mod headlight? Halogen is good....I do not car about judges.

So, yes the emblem is a hard one, but bad to the subject....NOBODY is restoring them? I had a Rick Miller do 4 Boss 302 Trim rings to the tune of 150.00 each, the trim rings were not represent correct at all, they came out beautiful. I asked Rick if he could do them, and he said NO....the funny thing is, he is just a middle man!! Can you imagine having a 6 month backlog, and all you do it inspect them when you get them and send them to a 'hidden' outfit to do all the work?

Quote from: JD on October 17, 2024, 11:31:20 AMthe difficult aspect as Bob pointed out, is the correct size aluminum emblem to go in the center cap, restoring/replacing the rest is not so difficult.

Kieth in Wisconsin might be a good one to talk with.

WOW they reproduce lug nuts, they can't do a wheel center?
