Someone in the comments section for the first video claims to have sold the previous owner the leaf springs.

That would make for a great little horror story.  I could get something out of that...

This one was sitting out in the open back in 2006. He didn't want to sell it then but did eventually.

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Old barn find GT500

Who remembers finding these cars pretty frequently in barns? LOL! Too bad I can't buy it back for the old price. These photos are ~2002, the car was last on the road in 1989 and it was an estate sale situation. The car is now in the for sale forum at $118k.  ;D

Is red oxide primer under the original paint for the fiberglass parts?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Changes in 67 nose fiberglass?
February 26, 2021, 08:23:48 PM
Hello Shelby Intelligentsia,  I have tried searching and I'm not finding much.  Perhaps you can point me in the right direction. What were the changes in the 67 nose fiberglass like? I saw the thread with the two piece nose. Is that the only style with an almost full bucket behind the headlights? Also there is a style that is open behind the headlights? See pics of the two types I have found online.  I have a damaged nose piece that a friend removed from a car he parted out ~30 yrs ago. I've had it as wall art for 20+ years and was just curious to confirm if the style could date it to a early, mid, late car... etc.  (I know what car it came off from)

There was a black 68 gt 350 on ebay in the past week and I emailed the seller about having someone look at it in person. Seller hasn't provided contact info, and ended up canceling the auction on the last day of the auction while saying it is still available.

It is the same seller mentioned here a few months back (yuki her) in Renton. I also asked for additional photos and did not receive any either. Buyer beware.

Have something similar on my 67 T-5 (export car). The car hasn't been messed with a lot, I also believe it is original to the car.

Does it happen to be a NJ built car?  And was it possibly a late built car?
