1965 GT350/R-Model / 65 shelby cragar wheels

I believe there was a topic on this awhile back .
So I have a set with blue dots on them.
What i want is another set for some street tires .
For the front I will stick with the standard size.
However for the rear I want a bit wider as they can make other sizes.
So the question is anybody done 8 inch ? Or larger. Any issues with clearance with
Wellwell?
Possibly change backside offset?

I restored this car at least 16 years ago. looks like some things have been changed out.
low milage car was off the road since 1973 when i bought it.
Complete rotisserie restoration was done. I believe I sold it at least 10 years ago.

Well the old car has been parked for the last who knows how long due to many things but here is a picture and wanted to ask those that have tried to make a barn door... Vintage Shelby a little more aero dynamic say with vintage parts that maybe OL SHEL might have used. I have NO INFO on that day at the Goodyear test track with a 427 High Riser.. 67 Shelby and what else did that car have on it for that test run? Is my 67 making enough steam to get to 177... hopefully, any and all input gladly accepted.
