Regarding the casting number and date code, seems to be an original one. There are two same for sale on eBay. Unfortunatly i'm not a specialist, so i can't tell if it's a service part.

French title (imported from Canada to France 28 years ago).
4 known owners, 68000 miles, old restoration (in Canada 1986 by second owner Sylvain Provençal ), good condition with no rust, 428ci engine. Of course in the Registry at my name and Marti report available.
