This wheel has the gold tone on all front surfaces of the center section, including the smooth shinny surfaces.
Do we really know how many different ways this may have been done?

That gold tone does pressure wash off as I'm sure it did in multiple car washings in the past. The wheels that I am bringing back have
been out of use for some time and all but one had changed color to gold. 
Was surprised to see a 12-67 date on the first one I cleaned up.                      Thank you again.

Looking for your expert opinion on colored gold or none coated spokes.

Forward the drawing to me please. I still have the original plug and can use it as a spare. I had a few plugs machined and anodized since mine was marked up.

If possible find a MICO dealer in your area.  I use Fluid Power Inc. in York, Pa. 717-252-1535 Jaldinger@fluidpower.com
You will be looking for MICO repair Kit # 02-001-029.  Big blue top vent plug may need to be replaced as they use a different
high pressure relief valve in the new kit.  Replacement plug is steel not original aluminum.  Good Luck Terry

Thanks Drew for your thoughts on repairing the 4100.  I should of thought of that myself as I have used it in the past.  More ammunition for next time.

I wound up removing the throttle shaft for inspection. I was surprised to see how bad it really was.  I took your advice Dan and silver brazed the back side with success.
Works like a champ with consistent idle readings.  I installed a Daytona carb. rebuild kit with a new power valve.  What a difference a little informed attention can make.
The Daytona kit is designed with gaskets and rubber for todays fuels. I am so happy with this 4100.

Anybody here know how to tighten the accelerator Lever on the accelerator shaft?

Noticed it to be loose and not producing consistent idle readings.

I'll take one extra large if I'm not to late.

I'd be willing to buy a LH&RH set if they look original and fit.
Saves me from making them in my shop. The best of luck to ya.
