I was in the same situation 2 months ago with my 5F09K. I paid $3000 for the original short block. Just the block, no caps, pistons or rods. Standard bore but hopefully no cracks. Currently on the sea to France, I will check it here and hopefully the block can be machined. $3000 for the block and about $1000 for shipping and fees.
But I am happy to give the original  block back to my kar, and it is just a kcode.

Just to understand, is it too expensive? What is the problem with this auction? Thanks.

I ´m French and I recently bought a Kar.
Yesterday I found something interesting about this SFM in the dash box.
Jimmy trice own this GT350 and a 5F09K.
I bought this Kar this year. She was imported in Europe in 2021.
I do have paperworks for my Kar and an insurance document for the SFM5S269 « Georgia Liability Insurance Identification Card » with a date: 08-02-77.
