I don't see the rare 64 Galaxie trans in any pictures? 64 started out with the T-10 and switched to the Toploader, But only 64 had the narrow bolt pattern...65 changed to the more common wide bolt pattern as he has listed.

What could be worse than a re-body? What if the car actually exists? Maybe the tag was from an old shop that had done a restore or repaired front end damage? Just wondering.....

I just want to say, don't everyone think these are hard to come by, I thought they were until I took a job at Ohare airport, I would have to say 85% of the equipment at the airport uses 4.9 litre 300ci Ford engines and C6 transmissions, And every one of them has that 69 lever in them, also Every once in a while I have seen some 70 ones, Any trans shop can get them, they are severely plentiful.

It's always been 3 months prior, But, there was some Work Strike around then, So that kinda plays into it....
