Offered For Sale is a 1970 Shelby Mustang GT350, Shelby #2296.

This Shelby is very complete with all specific Shelby items intact.  The car was refurbished/repainted back in about 1982/83.  The paint is nice and still shines, but it is showing it's age.  The interior is completely original and is in excellent shape.  The 351W, Top Loader 4-spd, and rear axle assembly are all original to the car.  The motor has never been rebuilt and the odometer shows 42,075 miles.  I have owned this car since 2002 and I am the 3rd owner.

Shelby Specs:

-Original Gulfstream Aqua color
-Original 351W-4V engine
-Original Autolite 4300 carb, exhaust manifolds, aluminum SHELBY lettered intake, heads, air cleaner assembly, radiator, etc.
-Original Top Loader 4 speed close ratio Transmission w/ original Ford shifter
-Original 9" rear end w/ tag
-Original White Deluxe Interior w/ console and original gauges
-Original black carpet w/ original red floor mat inserts

-Original floors and trunk drop downs
-Original fiberglass
-Original Triple hump resonators / exhaust
-Original PM-300 antenna

This Shelby is an original Pennsylvania car.  The car is a nice driver quality condition and very complete with all Shelby unique parts.

Cars For Sale / 1970 Shelby GT500 Convertible -Tribute
October 06, 2023, 07:10:41 PM
Offered For Sale is my 1970 Shelby GT500 tribute. This car received a rotisserie restoration.

This Mustang started life as a 1970 Mustang Convertible and was used as a base to re-create this 1970 Shelby Mustang GT500 tribute.  The ground up restoration was started with a rust-free body and new reproduction Shelby fiberglass was used in the transformation.  The laser straight body was painted Ford Candy Apple Red and a new White Deluxe interior was installed along with a new convertible power top.  The engine is a 428 Cobra Jet that was rebuilt and detailed and is backed by a rebuilt 4 speed Top Loader transmission.  All new suspension was installed with the correct staggered rear shocks.  The restoration was completed in 2010 and the car still looks just as fresh today since it is rarely driven.

Includes:
-High quality Candy Apple Red Paint on a laser straight body in perfect condition
-428 Cobra Jet engine
-Edelbrock 4V carb, CJ exhaust manifolds, aluminum intake, heads, air cleaner assembly, 3 core radiator.
-4 Speed Top Loader Transmission w/ Hurst comp shifter
-9" rear axle assembly w/ staggered rear shocks
-White Deluxe Interior w/ Shelby console
-8,000 RPM tach with 120 MPH speedometer
-Shelby Roll Bar
-Correct Shelby chrome moldings and bright work
-Detailed underside with correct gray epoxy primer and red overspray
-Reproduction 1969-70 Shelby 15x7 wheels w/ Cooper Cobra radial tires
-Front Disc Brakes / Rear Drum brakes
-Power Steering

Appeals / Re: Johnny Bolton Ford

I used to own a 68 GT500KR that was originally sold through Johnny Bolton Ford.  The car had all of its original manuals and window sticker.  It was car #02503.
