The engine was bored 30 over it has a 24"radiator which is stock with factory ac car, has fan shroud, I did install a C6OE G clutch fan like the one on my 68 Shelby, last night I was thinking about the timing, the previous owner took off the vacuum advance and installed some type of locking device which I believe is part of the problem, I did plan on addressing that and bought a nos vacuum advance unit, looks like it's time, I have another 69 mach1 with a newly rebuilt  351w engine a little radical, built by same engine builder also ac car 4spd same fan and shroud, radiator but has high volume pump, dist at 18 degrees and it runs cool in town, thanks guys, I believe I know what needs to be addressed

This car always runs hot in traffic in the warm months, motor was rebuilt, new radiator installed, but I believe it's a standard water pump, looking for a HV pump, what's everyone using these days, thanks in advance for the input, it gets up to 220+ has HV thermostat,

I may have one but the epoxied on lower piece is missing,

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: Shelby Vin
March 05, 2023, 11:23:24 AM
A few years ago I had to have one made, I forgot the company but found them in vin plate restoration  search on the web, they have the correct plates and stamp with correct size and font as original, but require proof of ownership, I sent a picture of current registration, it came looked great looked exactly like the one on my other Shelby, the only thing it looked brand new compared to the patina on my other car, good luck, Pete

That's an original wheel

68 and later units tend to be white and the carb cap would most likely say Shelby, this is what Craig informed me when I bought a setup for my 68 Shelby, I have never seen an air intake box as pictured, factory installed would have a hose and round canister air cleaner

I don't think a 5/8" socket is correct, I believe it's 13/16",
