I will be at SAAC 46, if you happen to have a set for sale?

I am sure there are lots of details to work out. I appreciate those efforts!   Its not like my car is worth a ton, but, they are our cars. Looking forward to it.

Is anyone besides me not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling yet as far as trailer / secure car parking?  Or am I being too paranoid... again , my first convention...

I know I will get a bunch of smart arss response's, but, I have not heard any response besides rent a garage... I would like to understand if there is a place to park your car/trailer that is somewhat secure?

Interesting, I am running the same size tires with 10 spokes and am having issues with the stainless fender trim getting caught by the tire during hard cornering and bending it.

I bought the arning drop template, but, have not moved forward with it since my tires catch the trim. I am considering a smaller/narrower tire in front, thinking this will stop the issue.

Should I try a tire size narrower or tire size with less sidewall. Suggestions appreciated based on your experienc. Although I am thinking not all 10 spokes have the same back spacing which could be another issue...

Totally new to the conventions.  I know there is still lots of coordination taking place. However, I have a few questions regarding hauling a car trailer from out of state to this event.
Is there parking for it?
The car, is there secure parking for it? either host hotel or track?

Looking forward to this!

thx

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / hubcap repairs
April 06, 2021, 01:47:30 PM
How difficult/expensive is it to repair dents and scuffs on hubcaps? Does it require a skilled person and tools? There is a set on ebay that is local to me. Just curious how much effort is required and is it worth it to mess with them or just purchase ones in good condition. thx

Can someone provide an overview of SAAC the convention process?
Is it all inclusive package with hotel or do you have to find/book your own hotel?
Sounds like Embassey suites is the "home hotel"?
Car trailer parking?
Safe parking for cars?
Unjudged car show/peoples choice?
I saw judged concours is planned
Also saw drag racing is in, as is track time on the road course
There are probably more events?

#1198 is curious

thx!
