Photos sent to me by a friend. Recent swap meet in New York. He said the car was already sold for $65K when he got there.

All I have are the photos and the story. Maybe some here will know more.

The placard says "'68 Shelby Barn Find From Costa Rica! Genuine Shelby GT350 #3364. Just off the truck out of 25 years' storage - no time to clean it up! Factory Wimbledon White 4 speed car with black interior, tilt wheel and ten spokes. Matching number engine, solid Central American body. Have Marti Report, other documents coming. All Shelby ID tags intact and original."

Good luck, any updates? Was this car recently for sale in the Miami area?

The one with the vacuum in the base and chrome lid. Need a base, lid, and S tube, and maybe snorkel.

I like the black detail. Adds some more contrast & impact to the wheel. Time to hunt for photos of cars with wheels like that :)

I dig it. Nice to see one survive without LeMans stripes.

Great to see those old badges, I love it when I see an old car with the correct dealer badge.

Quote from: Richstang on February 15, 2018, 10:54:53 AMOf course you know everyone will have a different opinion. They are all special for their own reasons.

I agree, there is no right or wrong answer. Just a chance to hear what draws other enthusiasts to their particular favorite :)

Which one is yours?

I have a soft spot for the 1968 GT500KR, but some recent experiences have given me a new appreciation for the 1969-70 era cars. The Shelby/Mustang evolved dramatically over its short lifespan. With so much variation, which one do you connect with most and why?
