If the bent fender on the car was original to the car would it not be worth trying to straighten it?  If not an original fender, then I would certainly replace.

I will second that.  He did a set for my 64.5 convertible, and they came out exceptional.  He even provided missing pieces.  Standup guy.

Looking forward to it.

I am interested in bringing my 68 GT350 to this event.  Does one have to preregister or just show up?

Thank you,

It is so incredibly annoying, but it appears there is nothing that can be done to stop him.  Nothing seems to dissuade him from endless useless posts.  I have no idea the psychology that drives this behavior but he seems to thrive on negative attention.  I rarely open his posts but it is frustrating to see all the Unread Posts being from one guy who has almost nothing to add to the Shelby discussion.

Appeals / Interior quarter trim boot snaps
September 04, 2024, 04:33:35 PM
I am looking for more original looking boot snaps than the ones I purchased.  These are swaged into the interior rear quarter panels in a convertible Mustang.  The ones I purchased would certainly work but they look very different from the originals.

Thank you,

Corey

Mike,

I will take the book "how to rebuild your Small-Block Ford by Tom Monroe; $5".  I live in Annapolis Maryland.  Let me know what the total will be.  You can email me at corey.bowcutt@comcast.net.

Thank you,

Congratulation Steve!  Looks terrific.  Wish I could have been there.

Kent,

Unfortunately, I can tell you nothing about horn differences over the years.  But I can tell you that the 64.5 horns are very different from any other year.  They are mounted in the engine compartment on top of the 45 degree frame rails adjacent to the fan.

I take it from your color choices you are not particular about original colors?

Love the stripe!
