Selling a 67 (not a 68 as there is a differece) Shelby origianal/factory/assembly line roll bar with the Harness's and boots/covers. This is NOT a reproduction.
Roll bar is the later version (not 4 point and not with removable cover).
Roll part is super nice. No damage to the padding and the orignal spot welds were drilled out on the mounting 'feet' (when removed) so it can be re-welded back with zero issues.
Tags on harnesses need replacement as they are missing (stitching there just no tags). They both retract just fine and no other issues with them other than a cleaning and if you wanted to re-dye them or send them out for new tags.
I am not separating any of these parts so please don't ask.
$7,500 best offer

The three '68 Shelby hubcaps: 2 need lots of help but the chrome on the spokes is good (not pitting or bubbling). The 3rd hubcap is a takeoff and super nice. I bought them from a man who bought a GT500KR brand new and where he immediately put 10 spokes on the car. The wheels are not pitted at all because of the low use. He used 2 of the hubcaps on a trailer (who cared back then) and they need lots of help. The 3rd one was stored in the attic along with the 3 wheels until last year. I asked him about the 4th wheel and hubcap and he does not know what happened to it but it was originally in his attic and he could not find it. He told me he searched his attic multiple times. That is all I can tell you.
1800 for all 3 wheels and all 3 hub caps. Will consider offers.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Mag Star question for the experts

Hi Gents,
I have a set of original mag stars on my car which were re-rimmed by Craig Connelly back in the early to mid 1980's. The problem is that sometimes they leak air. It only happens when the car sits and when a wheel is clocked a certain way. Its not the valve stems (I already replaced them all and same thing) and its not the tires nor the rim sealing bead area (have cleaned them multiple times) and same for the tires themselves.
I am 99% sure its the rivets that leak slowly.
My question is what are you guys sealing the rivets with? Looking for an actual product name and part number so I don't use the wrong stuff. I assume its a high grade / high quality silicon sealant? Or ?
Looking for only the best product as I don't want to mess around with them again.
