I've been running Autolite 45's with Pertronix for 20 years in my 66 GT 350 and they have been great.

Totally agree.  The reason I used the Felpro was I had issues with the cork gasket that was on it.  I am also not planning to have the car judge so functionality was more important than looks to me.

I asked this question a few years ago and was told the following gasket was highly recommended. FelPro part number OS1326OT I used it on my oil pan and it worked great and I've never had a leak in the last 5-6 years. 

I've been using Autolite 45 plugs for decades with good performance and no issues.

I seem to remember a thread years ago on this topic and that the color used was not wimbledon white but was chevy commercial white because it matched the color of the side stripes better.  Can anyone verify that and also post what the paint code(s) are for that color?  I've had some cracking in the paint around my hood scoop for years now and am thinking I might get that fixed and re-paint all of the stripes this year - and want to be sure I've got the color right.  Thanks

That's the dealer I bought my 1st new car from - '72 Mustang 351 Sportsroof which I ended up putting Mach 1 trim on.  Same color as this one.  Had a ton of fun in that car !

CJ's shows that their Scott Drake 1" polyurethane sway bar insulator and mounting bracket sets are in stock for $31.00

For the 1" mounting brackets, looks like they are available from Branda, or Scott Drake parts from CJ Pony or others. 

Trickle charged my battery again today.  Next charge will be before I fire the old girl up for the season in April. 

Have been running a pertronix unit in my car for 19 years.  No issues so far.   

Can't recall what the specific clearance issue was with mine, but I assume it was the front carb.  It was a long time ago that I tried to install it.  I recall it was close but was not going to fit with the original holes, and I did not want to get into drilling new ones.  My Holleys are the List 3360 / 3361's.  Perhaps yours are different carbs and have different dimensions?

That said, the Monte Carlo bar is perhaps the most useful upgrade for a "driver" caliber car.
The straight bar fits perfect with original dual point distributor and dual quad intake.

My car has a ford dual quad intake with vintage holleys along with stock ignition and had the monte carlo bar with a hoop when I bought it as third owner 38 years ago.  The original monte carlo bar was in the trunk.  I tried to re-install the straight bar and it would not fit.
