Interesting SA-NV history.  What was the name of the Shelby company at the the raceway complex where we had the "SAAC Does Vegas-1" event in 1996?  Shelby Automobiles, Inc.?  This was before the Series 1 and Venture Corp ownership.

Not sure of the development of the paint scheme and Cobra name, but looks like it might have been influenced by the 1978 Mustang II Cobra.

Ah, I remember the initial production hype on the limited production run to keep the mark-ups high and how first year buyers thought it was only going to be a production of 7000 units.

If I am at a car show and am asked about what kind of sound system and audio enhancements does the 66 have, I reply the audio comes from under the hood and out the rear pipes.  Shelby stereo.  Listen up!

The palm tress in Hawaii saw their shadow today predicting twelve more months of sunny skies with light passing showers, variable surf and warm beaches without any 'gators or snakes. 

That's a big used car lot!  They don't seem so rare.

The unveiling, like many new series Shelby vehile productions, are unveiled at BJ auction, sometimes for charity.  Those are the dates that matter now.

Will there be California gestapo at SAAC-50 preventing the mass attack of classic beasts?

Received mine in Aloha land yesterday. Thanks to all who wrote the stories, shot the photos and put it together.

In summary of this discussion, it is not the swamp land that has the value but the licensed name that you add to it. 

Unsure of the fragrance.  If it is another Shelby licensed product, it kinda smells, anyway.

Received mine yesterday as well.  Great book and great service getting it packaged and out.
