I just used a kit on my windshield, doors and rear glass and am very happy with the results. It removed wiper blade damage, surface marks etc. It made scratches much harder to see and basically polished the glass. Any scratch I could feel with my finger nail it would not take out.It is a slow job and I spent hours on all of the original glass.I used it with an electric drill an kept feeling the glass to make sure it did not get too hot and crack.I believe it cost approx. $25 and here is the info if interested.

I bought it off amazon.

You have some of the best 68 Shelby  people on here to consult with. I also offer my assistance if you need it.

Since you quoted me I will respond to you 67 GT 350.
When a friend of mine is attacked ie Jeff Speegle I will defend him.I said what I had to say to S Becker.
The fact that I have owned my cars so long is called credibility. I do all of my own work and I am very knowledgeable on KRs . So when you say ,so what , you don't know what you are talking about. I would test what I know on KRs against you anytime.
You are right that many people could care less how long someone has owned a car. But when opinions are expressed that are wrong or hurt people , they need to be addressed.
Maybe you should take a pill because nothing on this forum would cause me to take a pill.
I will not waste anymore time with you publicly. If you want to continue this we can do it via PM.
By the way, my name is Brad Sanders for transparency.

OK, now you got me started. I consider J. Spengle a good friend. He has helped me tremendously on my 65.If everyone was like Jeff it would be a great place. So what is with the attitude Becker? I will be happy to give you my credentials.I own 2 68 KR s since 1972 and have been into Shelby's since 1969.How long have you been into these cars? I don't remember your name 50 yrs. ago. I will be happy to tell you everything wrong with this car. I don't give opinions but facts. We can take this PM .

I gave the price on 5R106 because it was the only car listed without a number. I was at the auction  and decided to get the price to share with the SAAC. No intent on invoking negative reaction. I always say to the people that know me. If you want a show car ,build it especially if you have the means. If you have a driver ,drive and enjoy it. And if you intend on owning  your car forever or a long time ,make it the way you want. You are the only one the car has to satisfy. If you intend on selling the car the best is to put as close to factory as possible.Others may differ. I don't care if the car is a 65 hardtop or a 65 Shelby as long as they are nice condition. I can talk with the owner all day.As far as prices, there are deals but be ready with the cash to buy.
Hope this clears up things. I am on SAAC to learn and help people with cars like mine.

The GT500 KR stripes are incorrectly installed on the fenders.I cannot tell if the letters or #s are wrong based on the photos.

+1 on what Bob said. I rebuilt mine with a NPD seal kit. The one seal is hard to get on . Make sure the cylinder bore is pit free and dip all of the seals in silicone dot 5 . I am going on 1 yr. with no leaks .we will see if it stays leak free.
