Same DOT compliant replacement rims and the centers are cast by the same company that did the originals and the same in appearance.
Quote from: deathsled on August 25, 2024, 10:52:08 PMI would say examples of cult cars would be the Bullitt Mustang or Ken Miles's 5R002 race car. Any significant race car with provenance. Or movie cars such as Christine. Any car that has a mystique about it. Much like the cult of personality.

It makes a big bang of a noise. I know what it is. So what?Yes, coming from the more civilized world of C2 Corvette Sting Rays and late '60s Shelbys the '65 GT350 is a real challenge for a nice sedate cruise to the grocery store. It steers like a truck, rides like a stagecoach, and you really have to slam it into the gears. It is loud, and rough, and so is a nice departure from my usual vintage driving equipment. It is similar to my '63 Z06 fuelie tanker though. I am still getting used to it, and swapping the Blue Dot tires for radicals did make it much better. I need more seat time, but I am getting it.
What's the issue? If you're expecting or wanting a quiet pleasure drive, drive something else.
Cheers,

I learned a few years ago to sit in a place where the TV & a Computer are side by side while watching the auctions. The computer doesn't give you the coverage TV does, at least you get to see the cars you wanted to....

Which begs the question:
I wonder what a complete car is worth?
