The pictures on Hemmings show the fuel vapor line modification.

I dont think there is enough there, to determine if it was dealer done or added during the restoration

Quote from: SCJSTU on April 25, 2024, 03:17:00 PMPete, I guess my question is can you tell on this car it's the fuel vapor line recall was done to it or not that may be a telltale sign
Not really a telltale sign . Many cars never went back in for the recall. I know of numerous owners who drove their cars for decades without knowing of the potential problem. I would be nervous to drive a 69/70 GT500 without the recall but that is just me . I have had two second hand bad examples of what can happen that are always in the back of my mind.

I note a orice drop to $275k on Hemmings.

This car is a bargain 2 cars for the price of one or buy one get one FREEEEEEEEE.  This car was originally black jade  white interior black top a 1 of 1 combo 1969 4-speed gt 500 drag pack vert with only 14 total 1969 drag pack gt500 shelby  4-speed verts made so it WAS a very rare desirable shelby at one time anyway.

someone should ask to get pictures of the back seat area with the rear seat removed and let's see what color is underneath....someone might have been lazy

With the R stamped over the H what about the consecutive unit numbers? They have to be different also, right? Were they stamped over?

Like I said it was 7-8 years ago and I didn't have a registry with me to look up anything. What I saw was enough evidence for me
