At $17 a day and 17 cents a mile it would cost you $544 to run a Hertz car in the 9 day 2300 mile Great American Race.

Nice Hertz.  Looks like a green and gold one but can't tell one hundred percent from the photo.  One could always create their own race.  I always wanted to organize a Route 66 race from Chicago to LA but the liability would be horrendous.  So it stays in my dreams.

Call it a tour and get waivers from everyone that they will follow all the laws and hold you harmless. Or you can join up with these guys. They are doing it in Model As.
