If it starts it's streetable.
Overkill is just enough.

Both of the "experimental" inline intake manifolds were cast up by Kelly Coffield. I was in a rush to get the Dual Inline carburetors ready for the WASAAC meeting so I left them on the board that I made to visualize the closeness of the carburetors when Kelly and I were discussing how the carburetors were going to be installed. So the plywood is a tool, not part of the intake manifold.

The single inline Coffield air gap intake manifold is already slated for the chassis dyno sessions in mid August. The same facility was used to test the stock intake manifold system, now the "before" intake manifold is the CROSSBOSS intake system with an 875 CFM Autolite carburetor to be followed up by this intake manifold.

Intake #2 BOSS 302 - Buddy Bar had one of the most professional looking polishing jobs I've ever seen, I don't know who did it but it was not someone who was just polishing it for fun. All of the details casting dates, part numbers, firing order, etc. were removed, all of those areas were flat, not wavy the curved surfaces were beautiful in their transition. If I didn't know any better I would have sworn that Bernie Washington of Washington polishing did the work, it was polished deep around the bolt attachment areas were most people give up trying to get the casting marks removed. In my opinion that would have been around a $500 polish job in the 1980s. Beautiful!

This just might be the most beautiful induction combo I have ever seen.
