Found another small supply of donor filters and am in the process of making a few more of these Rotunda C5AE-9155-A4 stamped fuel filters. Made from 50+ year old aftermarket filters with the correct thick nut, assembly line correct for 66's, includes NOS gasket. I will eventually have ~10 for sale, have two available now. $70 each which includes USA shipping.

Please PM or email if interested.

Thanks,
Dave

Are those decals or actual ink stampings?

Ink stamped Rotunda C5AE trademark filter 65 most of 66 . Ink stamped Autolite C5AE trademark filter late 66 to most of 67 . Metal stamped C7 filter later 67 to at least mid 69 to the best of my knowledge.

They are paint stamped, and a pain in the you know what to make. I start with period NORS filters which are almost as hard to find as NOS, and IMO likely made by the same supplier as the original C5AE Rotunda and Autolite filters.  Most of those are yellow zinc dichromate plated, first step is to remove the yellow zinc. Next step is stamping which usually takes ~5 attempts to get a satisfactory result.

DAVES time and effort and research on these rotunda fuel filter is excellent and has resulted in a first class concours product that i for one have purchased several over the years for my cars and as stock for future cars.

Paint looks the same as the ink in this context and makes for a much more durable stamp on the part .

Will these filters work with 1965 715 Lemann's carb?

It will work on the 65 lemans carb with a adapter like all 66's however no 65 GT350 or carryover 66 came with one. Those cars had a fuel filter made into the fuelpump. With the fuelpump with filter made into (integral) the fuelpump there is no advantage to using the small carb filter.

Yes, they are, all true 66's with a non-canister style fuel pump.
