Sorry... I need to figure it out for future use! I have a new subject shortly for the group that would include a couple pics...

SCOTTGTK

I'll try to post from my phone? Maybe it makes a difference.. I've been trying from the laptop.. tech is not my sand box.. I do see I have "user actions" here... I didn't on the laptop

SCOTTGTK

Did that work? I did get a message... I'm no longer allowed to post anymore pics unless in a new post.

SCOTTGTK

And the 5th... seems to work from the phone???

That made all of the differance in the world . A picture is worth a thousand words. It is one of the first reproduction intake attempts made several decades ago. I would be surprised if it had 4 holes when the carb is taken off. It is based on one of the last versions of production Cobra intakes. That is a typical common denominator for the repro companies to use the last available version before it went obsolete. The large firing order letters and numbers ,unused thread holes by the runners which are for mounting the coil to the intake on engines with thermactor (1967 and up smog)are the obvious tells.  The S1MS engineering number on a S2MS large letter Cobra intake given the other described tells ends the speculation. I suspected as much because that S1MS and its mold mark I have only seen on old repro intakes but didn't want to make a determination by that alone.

Awesome!  Thanks Bob!  Couple follow up.... is the mold mark the 9424-A? Is that COBRA considered LARGE cobra letters? I thought they were the small letters?

Scott... you were not attaching universal images... you were posting some Apple formats (HEIC)

HEIC stands for High Efficiency Image Container, a file format for storing digital images and image sequences. It's the default image format for Apple devices.

Needs to be converted to JPG or some universal format

Thanks Ron... seems to work better from my phone. I didn't have the "user actions" tab on the laptop but I do on the phone.

The mold mark I was referring to is the oblong raised pad the S1MS is on.That is not on the genuine intakes. The Cobra letters on yours are the same size as other genuine S2MS intakes which are LARGER than the genuine small letter S1MS intake.

It's a very nice manifold, just not original to a '65 GT350.
