I always enjoyed Jerry and his wife when 002 and 003 were toured around the US. It was great to see Jerry modify the rear quarter lips on 5R002 just as he did on the same car in late 64.  It was fantastic that John Brown and John Atzbach could make that happen.   As with all the Shelby American employees, Jerry was humble, honest and would always take the time to explain how it was at Shelby American. Like many of the Shelby American employees, he had a great career after Shelby closed the doors all the way up to the Decon Chevrolet Monza race car I think it was called. God Speed Jerry.
