Real deal. but Ouch for that condition I would think!

Good observation, the breather hose is original.  The have a 90 degree bend in the end.

The base has an unpainted rim on bottom and two "drain" holes.

The decal is paper (not vinyl) and looks like the inset, although not readable in our eBay example

The block-off plate is not original, but the black paint here is.

Same on bottom of the lid. The lid has no decals on it.
