Got a chance to pick up a free T10 four speed, it was used in a full size Ford 62-63 era. What is the overall length of the T10 used in the Shelby GT350 in 66. Might want to change mine over to a 4 speed one day if this will fit   This one is 26 1/2 inches long
Owned since 1971, NOW DRIVEN OVER 250,000 MILES, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

T10's were used in 65 and 66 GT350's. The mounting pattern is not the narrow style like your example shows. So not only is the tail shaft different but the main case is too. Free is free but the short answer is not a recommended substitute for a Automatic regardless of if GT350 or regular Mustang.

Main case is the same pattern used on early '65 Mustangs (AKA 64 1/2) D code and K code. Tailshaft is full size ford so different shifter mounting position too.
