Since it is topical to discuss missing cars as of late, decided to rip open the old wound of 5R529.  Any more leads on this one?  Hiding somewhere?  Or disintegrated into iron oxide?

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

What about the rumor that one of the R Models that was sent to SA was stripped of all parts for spares and sold as a shell in 1966.

Who was the selling dealer on this car? I heard a story of a 65 R sold new by Larsen that lost it's brakes coming down the Sprain and crashed into an overpass abutment about late summer '66.

Howard? Are you around?

According to Howard Pardee's article, in the Summer edition, of the Shelby American, pages 220-221, Nothing
has turned up, on 5R529 since it arrived, at Rice-Holman Ford, in Merchantville, New Jersey.
