I thought that perhaps putting this under a new, separate thread might draw more attention to it.  As with most events in the awful year of 2020, Ray Evernham's Americarna Car Show has been cancelled, but a virtual car show has been established in order to attempt to raise some money for the Autism charities here in North Carolina.  To date, we have two Shelby entries in the contest, and you can help them and the Ignite Community Centers for adults with autism by voting for either or both of them.  It costs $30 per vote, and it's a great way to show how much you love Shelby automobiles.

Who is going to win?  An awesome 1967 Acapulco blue GT350:

or a fire breathing 1968 GT500 KR:

Thanks to Bill and Ted respectively, for registering.  Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, but check with your financial advisor if in doubt.  Now pull out your credit cards.  :)

Thanks for posting Brian! It was a great show last year, and we missed being able to go this fall. Its so nice to see that Bill and Ted entered their Shelby's. I voted several times for both guys. Great charity cause, and I hope many others donate to it too. Good luck, Denny

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

BG's Jag appears to be running away with the vote, two of the three classic Shelby Mustangs have less votes than that of a photo of a 60 year old woman!  Also, only one Vette, considering the Charlotte Vette club shows up with 40+ Vettes every year and hogs a whole parking area.  Not a very big turnout of cars, considering the actual show usually brings in nearly 500+.   https://my.360photocontest.com/AmeriCarnaLIVE/Photos

BG's Jag deserves every vote. It was spectacular when he acquired it and he has made it even better.

Thanks Ted, but Bill is right.  We can't have a Shelby losing to a woman.  Lol.

Worse yet we have 3 Shelby's behind a lone early Corvette. Is there such a thing as "nitrous" in voting? Anyway, all for a good cause. As they say in politics "vote early and often". Crap, wish I hadn't brought that up.

We should beat the corvettes  just  to prove a point .
