It will probably help to get correct responses if you specify which year/interior.

It is 1969 June production---that is piece that wood grain with clock is mounted on---around the clock is done in chrome finishing, and also about 1/8 strip of chrome around the perimeter, the rest is in sort of mat black--thank you

I have done my own painting before after getting the pieces re-chromed. I made up a set of sheetmetal templates to protect the chrome while painting. I horse traded with Ray Azque who did my 68 Shelby pieces(metal backed woodgrain after repainting) for those templates. Each one was fitted to each opening. I made up another set but never finished them. I'd paint from the back side for the black on the clock IIRC. It has been years so I don't remember what black I used but it could have been a semi flat Krylon(1613 professional). I usually compare a test spray to an original before I do them. Gary
I used Mr Gs for the last set vacuum metalized plated but that was over 20 years ago. Ray was doing them but believe he stopped in the late 2000s. I'm sure someone will chime in on who does this type of plating good. If you can find someone who does the plating and painting-use them. Painting is a PITA doing the argent and black on the gauge cluster. some say use Vaseline-didn't have luck with that so went with the templates.  Gary

Thank U Garry---we have same issue with people retiring or closing shops under pressure from EPA--we had shop doing vacuum plating , however they closed the shop 2 months ago--I am sure somebody must still be doing it--THANKS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Ray Azcue "Quality Mustangs" out of Fortney, Texas. A google search says the biz is permanently closed. I believe he closed for personal reasons by going over emails I have conversing with him in 2007. Somewhere I heard he brother might have taken over his operations but have not needed anything done since then. Gary
A google search of his brother Tony yielded this: https://www.tonysautoclassics.com/Pages/ContactUs.htm

Yep, been at least five years since Ray has answered any E-mails.  He did nice work, but, just like the rest of us, we get old.

Given there has been a lot of complaints here and other forums about the tachman regarding tach repair ,I would have reservations using him for plastic metalizing IMO.
