Not really but giving out the clue allows very unscrupulous types to easily fake one. The consequences unfortunately can be fatal to a transmission that had an incorrect gear installed.

that 30 tooth gear is a 1:76 second gear when clustered on a ford. came both nickel and steel on on j and l t-10s. chevys used them too.
