Bill

Been a rocky year, first my personal interaction with Covid, then the loss of family, and friends, both in and out of the automotive community. Took the wind right out of my sails for anything car related. Finally got a chance to look inward, and found my motivation to get back out to the garage for a little "me time", clear my head so to speak by getting my hands dirty again....Been a long time....So with that said, just wanted to give a shout out to all those who assisted me, both on and offline, when my rebuilt carb install did not quite go as planned recently. This is what the forum is all about, people helping people, as if we really were family.  "The Pumpkin" is back on the road and running great, took it for a spin down RT85 and to the house via some twisty back roads to test everything out. Need to tweak the cold idle a little more, but other than that, the car is purring along as it should.

Once again, thank you, you know who you are.

I know what you mean Bill on the Covid.  I spent 29 days in the hospital, the first 7 in ICU, No Family or Friends were allowed, came home with oxygen on Jan 19 which I am still on and gradually getting my lungs healed.  So, I'm with you and hope things look up for you and sorry for your losses.

I've always loved orange as my racecar was orange (see sig photo), and the orange Shelby's really stand out and get a lot of attention.

Stay Covid Safe All,
Rich

Folks,

Look at the date of my original post (February 2021), the car in question (1584) now resides in Texas, I'm playing with the replica cobras while the shop finishes up repairs on 2642

Wonder why it was bumped up to the Recently Updated on my view. Maybe someone posted then removed their post.

Bill,
You know that I fully understand the trials and heart ache.
Some never get those gusts of wind in their sails back.
It is a tough road, I congratulate you for finding the strength to find your way through all.
