1966 Mustang fastback, gt 350 , repo back glass fitment , install or problems

I happened to ask a friend about cutting tempered glass, he informed me they now have a laser glass cutter they use. Anyone heard of this method, if it indeed works it might be the remedy for these oversized windshields/back glass panels.

About three years ago I found a guy at a show selling cut up commercial drum sander belts for sand paper. The backing is heavy material like a cloth

The stuff never wears out. I have pieces well over a year old that I use
It's like a canvas backing. I will never use paper sandpaper again
