I am in the process of returning the Bill Clawson 68 A/S Mustang to original as we built it in 67/68.  When I bought the car in 2019 it had a Kirkey aluminum roundy round seat in it which is totally period incorrect and have removed it.  I read somewhere that there is someone making a R Model reproduction seat but cannot located the source. Any help that way would be appreciated.  I have a original NOS Mark Donahue seat that I bought back in the day but 50 years later the seat has shrunk and its just a little to narrow for me now.  It appears Kirkey does have a low back aluminum seat but I thought I would try to find a original style one first.

Check with Craig. At one time he was making a lot of the R Model repro parts.  https://paradisewheels.biz/about-us

If that doesn't work check with OVC and find out their source. https://www.ovcmustangs.com/

At one point I remember seeing seats being offered in a wider size.

I believe a company called Delta bay mustang sells a R model replacement seat... they have 3 sizes small... medium... and Fat ass.... no kidding this is how they listed them...  I bought the Fat Ass  many years ago and it fits me well  5 feet 10 and 180 pounds...   Ken
