I saw 002 when Rick Nagel brought her home from Mexico in the end of the 80"s.
This was at a car show in South Dallas. It was on a trailer. Have a picture somewhere.

This points out how valuable the history of these cars is. It hardly looks like the most valuable Mustang in the world in those photos. Nagel had a knack for finding cars in Mexico. He also found the original Firebird nee Camaro that Jerry Titus rented from John Ward at the end of the 68 season. Rick Titus bought it and started the restoration but he ended up selling it before it was done. There are at least 3 of them now. The original, an admitted clone and a pretender that John Ward built and sold when he figured the original was gone to race car heaven and the ashes cast to the four winds.

It was a super cold day May 16th at RA, Mark was gracious enough to wait for me to get my camera ready to capture one of the best sounds you will ever hear. Hit the link and crank up the volume!!
