As most know on here I am trying to to have REAL-ORIGINAL car from Shelby American with the same attributes of the original Super snake to beat that record run. I asked many times on here how much power was needed to go that fast back in the day and no knew until it was answered in the story line. I am right there with horsepower but mine is not a light weight 427 it is a heavy original 427 medium riser with all components dated 1965. Maybe they liked my idea of bringing back a 50 year old legend , Well they do have a lot deeper pockets than I do but mine is still coming together slowly. Hope to have it done for Nor-Cal this summer!
