Rear Tie down Brackets, Lift Hooks and Lower Scoop Hose?

Did Shelby remove the rear Ford Tie downs and engine lift hooks when they received the car?  Also, what type of clamp was used on the lower scoop to attach the hoses to fiberglass?

Tie downs - No not typically

Engine hooks - Which engine

Duct attachment - What car number or when was it completed at Shelby?  A fair number of examples from the non-early /press 1000 had rivets in the examples I have . Handy for workers since they already had the rivet tool to attache the wheel well duct to the body

Tie downs was hit or miss as far as removal . They were supposed to be taken off . They don't add anything to the car but reality is many were not taken off. In a restoration if you choose not to include them be sure to make it look like they were installed and taken off . Typically that looks like scaring of the paint around the bolt holes. Possible deductions in concours if that is not done. Typically engine lift hooks were left on BB and taken off SB's . Rivets attaching hose to scoop is the typical during the period of time when it was done .Later cars did not have functional lower scoops.  Sometimes tape is included I have not seen screw clamps etc. ever used from the factory .
