Description:
This 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 was delivered new to S&C Motors of San Francisco, California and spent time in Texas, Arizona, and Oregon before it was acquired by the current owner in 2020. A subsequent refurbishment included rebuilding the engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake components in addition to refinishing the wheels and refreshing the interior. Finished in green with white stripes over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 289ci HiPo V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear differential. Additional equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor on a high-rise intake manifold, Kelsey-Hayes ventilated front disc brakes, Koni shock absorbers, dual exhaust outlets, and a dash-mounted tachometer. This GT350 is now offered on dealer consignment with Shelby documentation, service records, spare parts, and an Arizona title.

The car is said to have been refinished in its current shade of green in 2006, with the white over-the-top and rocker-panel stripes added in 2007. Features include a hood scoop, quick-release pins, a grille with an offset running-horse logo, chrome bumpers and trim, and a bullet-style driver-side mirror.

Magnum 500–style 14″ wheels are said to have been refinished and are mounted with 205/70 BFGoodrich tires. Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes incorporate ventilated rotors while drums handle braking at the rear. The suspension was reportedly overhauled and the 1968- and 1969-dated Koni shocks refurbished under current ownership.

The recently refreshed cabin is trimmed in black vinyl over low-back front bucket seats with matching door panels, carpeting, and rubber floor mats. Other features include lap belts, a heater, a push-button AM radio, and a folding rear seat.

The woodgrain steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer flanked by gauges monitoring fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. A 9k-rpm tachometer is mounted atop the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The 289ci Windsor V8 was shared with K-code Mustangs and was topped with a four-barrel Holley 715-cfm carburetor and a cast-aluminum high-rise intake manifold to produce a factory-rated 306 horsepower. Additional GT350-specific features include a finned-aluminum "T" oil pan with hinged baffles, open-letter valve covers, and tri-Y exhaust headers. The engine was rebuilt under current ownership with work that included the refurbishment of the carburetor, water pump, radiator, distributor, and valve covers. A three-page receipt for the work performed by Duffee Motorsports of Glendale, Arizona in March 2022 is pictured in the gallery below.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ differential. The gearbox and driveline are said to have been overhauled under current ownership. Additional images of the underside are presented in the gallery.

Documentation from Shelby American Inc. and the Shelby American Automobile Club will accompany the vehicle along with service records and spare parts including a wheel, brake rotors, window gaskets, and other items pictured below.

The Arizona title notes that the odometer "Exceeds Mechanical Limits."
