"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Those wheels are rare - they are Raders. Same as what Shelby Automotive originally specked for the XR7-G Cougars.

14x6 on the Gs, though they were available commercially in 15 inch with just about any custom backspacing/depth.

I think a 15 inch with a deeper dish would have been a more aggressive look for the G but of course it really doesn't make any difference as they were recalled around May of 1968.

The main problem was leaking air where the center was attached to the rim.

In fact I'm surprised those tires on that Shelby are still holding air. It looks like the Shelby has the Raders in the vintage photos from 1977 that the seller shows Dennis - so I guess the original owner was lucky and got a good set of Raders.

I bet he put those on not long after purchasing the Shelby in '67 to replace the steel wheels and hubcaps.

I thought they were Raders, but I wasn't sure.

Dennis gives them a chuckle, so a quick call might get you some cheap wheels

LOL, yeah, I caught his comment and I get it - the look doesn't really jibe with a '67 Shelby.

I bet Don Rush from West Coast Classic Cougar has already scored them!

Here is a nice set of 5 he had - wonder if the spare on the Shelby is also a Rader.
