Hi Railroad folks,
To answer the latest question about 2621....I saw this car in person and judged it for a local show. It is coded for Lime Gold and had been repainted Lime Gold. Owner then was
Mike Dodge who later sold the car to a person in New Zealand and they repainted it White
No sign of this car ever being Blue. Hope this helps.
Several cars on the train that derailed were Blue so we should be able to trace which car you are asking about. Do you know any more details like the year or where the car was bought? Maybe pictures??? Old paperwork or anything can provide clues.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm trying to track down the 67 GT350 I grew up with that my friends parents owned. 2621 was a possibility but I don't think so now. But it was the only car associated with the town they lived in. As far as the train cars go it would leave (Although I don't know which ones are GT500's):
#2270
#2363
#2365
#2511
The car I'm looking for is a 67 GT350 Acapulco Blue, 4spd, black interior, outboard lights, and 10 spokes, no Le Mans stripes. They owned it since 68 and was in SoCal its whole life. The derailment cars make sense on location and their car had and accident involving the suspension before they bought it.
